Hwang Kyo-ahn Urges Kim Ki-hyun with 'Ulsan Land Allegations' to "Resign Courageously"

Hwang Kyo-ahn, a candidate for the party leader position in the People Power Party's March 8 convention, repeatedly urged his rival candidate Kim Ki-hyun to withdraw, continuing to raise suspicions about Kim's "Ulsan KTX station area land price speculation."

On the 26th, Hwang posted on Facebook, "Candidate Kim talks as if that land is useless and a loss, but why did people flock to that land and try to buy it even by subdividing it?" He added, "Stop lying and courageously withdraw for the sake of the party, the president, and the country."

He pointed out, "The land right next to Candidate Kim's Ulsan land is forest land just like Kim's land," and said, "However, the owner already subdivided that land into 70 plots and sold it in 2016, at 441,000 won per pyeong."

In a Facebook post the previous night, Candidate Hwang also criticized, "Candidate Kim has continuously lied about the land price," and said, "He claimed no one was buying that land and that the land price was low."

He continued, "Even at the land price from seven years ago, Candidate Kim's land is already worth over 15.5 billion won," emphasizing, "Candidate Kim should stop lying now and withdraw for the sake of the party, President Yoon Seok-yeol, and the country."
