Hana Financial Group Delivers Emergency Relief Supplies to Earthquake-Affected Areas in Turkey

Hana Financial Group announced on the 26th that it has created and delivered "Happiness Boxes" containing emergency relief supplies to support T?rkiye, which suffered earthquake damage. This volunteer activity was carried out through the voluntary participation of the group's executives and employees.

The volunteer event held on the afternoon of the 25th at Hana Financial's Myeongdong headquarters was joined by about 100 group executives, employees, and their families, including Lee Seung-yeol, CEO of Hana Bank, as well as golf legend and former main sponsor of Hana Financial during her golfing career, Coach Park Se-ri, sharing the same sentiment.

The Happiness Boxes containing relief supplies were prepared in two categories: adult and child boxes, focusing on the necessary items requested by the Embassy of T?rkiye. To help withstand the cold, common winter items such as blankets, gloves, scarves, and heat packs were included, and the child boxes contained a total of 10 items, including diapers for infants and toddlers. The Happiness Boxes will be promptly delivered to the local area through the official logistics channel of the Embassy of T?rkiye.

Lee Seung-yeol, CEO of Hana Bank, said, "We hope that the hearts of Hana Financial Group’s executives and employees will be well conveyed to the victims in T?rkiye who have lost their homes and are shivering in the cold due to the sudden disaster," adding, "As members of the global community, we express our condolences and will continue to provide ongoing support to places in need."

Coach Park also said, "It was especially meaningful to join this volunteer activity together with the executives and employees of Hana Financial Group. I hope the people of T?rkiye will regain a peaceful and normal life as soon as possible."
