2023 Peace Yanggu Cup National Youth Soccer Club Festival Opens on the 25th

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyung-min] The '2023 Peace Yanggu Cup National Youth Soccer Club Festival' opened on the 25th at Yanggu Sports Complex in Yanggu-gun, Gangwon-do.

On the first day of the tournament, the preliminary matches were held. The competition was divided into five categories from 1st grade to U-12, with group round-robin matches. The top two teams from each group advanced to the Classic division, while the 3rd and 4th place teams moved to the Challenge division. On the second day, the 26th, group round-robin matches were held for both the Classic and Challenge divisions. The 1st place team in the Classic division wins the championship, the 2nd place team is the runner-up, and the 3rd place team takes third place. In the Challenge division, the 1st place team wins the championship, and the 2nd place team is the runner-up.

The prize money is awarded as follows: 500,000 KRW for the Classic division champion, 300,000 KRW for the runner-up, 200,000 KRW for third place, 150,000 KRW for the Challenge division champion, and 100,000 KRW for the runner-up (Yanggu regional gift certificates). Various individual awards and prizes are also prepared.
