The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has decided to intensively inspect illegal activities at apartment construction sites in the early stages of construction or during the framework construction phase. If any suspected violations are detected, an immediate investigation will be requested.
The Ministry announced that First Vice Minister Lee Won-jae held a meeting with heads of regional land management offices on the 24th at the Seoul Land Development Exhibition Hall.
At this meeting, measures to activate the operation of Illegal Activity Response Centers established at each regional land management office were discussed.
The Illegal Activity Response Centers will focus on cracking down on illegal activities in cooperation with local related organizations during the first half of the year. In particular, inspections will be concentrated on apartment construction sites in the early stages of construction, which are often targeted for illegal activities.
