[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jeong Young-gwon] Namwon City, Jeonbuk, announced on the 22nd that it held the appointment ceremony for the '8th Term Civil Livelihood Economy Care Council' at the city hall conference room.
The Namwon Civil Livelihood Economy Care Council is an advisory council formed as a citizen pledge of the 8th term launched in July last year. It is composed of representatives from various fields to share the atmosphere of social sites and present a vision for regional development, aiming for open communication administration.

The council consists of a total of 21 members from various sectors, including economic researchers, city council members, financial institutions, civic groups, small business associations, and youth representatives.
Furthermore, the council will work together to study solutions for current issues across Namwon's regional economy, such as small business owners, SMEs, traditional markets, job creation, population and childbirth, youth, and cultural tourism, playing a positive role in community development.
The city expects that as the Civil Livelihood Economy Care Council holds quarterly meetings, it will play a pivotal role in making Namwon a better city to live in, alongside the city's administration.
Mayor Choi Kyung-sik said, "We have high expectations for the Civil Livelihood Economy Care Council," adding, "We will listen carefully to every opinion presented by the council and use them as nutrients to enrich the city and make citizens happy."
