The Jeonju International Film Festival (Executive Committee Chairmen Min Seong-wook and Jung Joon-ho) announced on the 21st that this year's slogan is "We Always Cross the Line."

The 24th Jeonju Film Festival will be held for ten days from April 27 to May 6 around the Jeonju Film Street area.

Since 2020, the festival has showcased official posters designed using an integrated identity built around the initial J of Jeonju (JEONJU) as the main visual. Following the 2022 J, which symbolized the light of a projector, this year’s poster features the J depicted as a screen representing "challenge, expansion, and celebration." This signifies the unfolding of the imaginative power of film art that the Jeonju International Film Festival envisions through the screen, which serves as a new channel for expression.

This official poster was created with the dynamism and usability of a moving poster in mind from the planning stage. The Jeonju Film Festival stated, "Through the potential for diversification of the main visual, we aimed to express a festival space where continuous challenges and expansions unfold."

They added, "So far, the Jeonju International Film Festival has introduced works at the forefront of independent and experimental films and supported filmmakers' creative experiments and independent spirit. Furthermore, it has adopted as its motto the contemplation and questioning of the implicit lines drawn within the Korean film industry scene."
