L&K Biomed Signs MOU with Gangnam Bedro Hospital to Establish 'International Spine Surgery Training Center'

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] L&K Biomed, a spinal implant company, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Gangnam Bedro Hospital on the 21st to establish an 'International Spine Surgery Training Center' to promote the advantages and surgical techniques of all height-expandable cage products.

L&K Biomed will invite overseas medical professionals together with Gangnam Bedro Hospital, which has extensive spinal surgery and clinical experience. They will provide overseas medical staff with the opportunity to directly use all products, including height-expandable cages and spinal implants. It is expected to be highly effective in promoting the product features and excellent surgical methods.

Gangnam Bedro Hospital, which opened as a neurosurgery clinic in 1992, achieved 5,000 cases of artificial disc replacement surgery for disc treatment and 3,500 cases of bi-directional spinal endoscopic surgery for spinal stenosis as of 2022. Gangnam Bedro Hospital is renowned as a specialized spine treatment hospital with medical staff experienced in spinal surgeries using height-expandable cages. They actively utilize L&K Biomed’s products in spinal surgeries.
