The country will generally be clear, but the east coast is forecast to have many clouds. The east coast of Gyeongbuk is expected to have less than 1 cm of snowfall (less than 1 mm of precipitation) in the afternoon, while Ulleungdo and Dokdo may experience rain or snow around 2 to 7 cm (about 5 mm). The east coast of the Gyeongnam region is predicted to have raindrops less than 0.1 mm. Morning low temperatures are expected to range from -11 to -2 degrees Celsius, including -6 degrees in Seoul, and daytime highs will be between 2 and 7 degrees Celsius.
Fine dust levels will be 'Good' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion. In Jeju Island, parts of Jeolla region, and the inland western area of Gyeongnam, winds will be very strong with gusts exceeding 70 km/h until the afternoon. Strong winds with gusts exceeding 55 km/h are also expected in most other regions nationwide.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea coastal waters. In the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are forecast to be 1.5 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea and 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the West and South Seas.
