Trot Rising Star Jeon Yujin Lights Up Pohang with Kind Donation Supporting the 'Hometown Love Donation Program'

Jeon Yujin said, "Pohang is my hometown where I was born and raised, and it always warmly embraces my heart," adding, "I hope many people will take an interest in the good cause of donating to my hometown Pohang through the Pohang City Hometown Love Donation Program."

On the 17th, singer Jeon Yujin, who was appointed as Pohang City's promotional ambassador, joined Mayor Lee Kang-deok in supporting the Pohang City Hometown Love Donation Program.

Jeon Yujin, from Pohang, Gyeongbuk, graduated from Pohang Donghae Middle School and is currently attending Pohang Dongseong High School.

She gained public recognition by appearing on TV Chosun's "Tomorrow's Miss Trot 2," and has since appeared on shows such as "Our Trot," "Our Namjin," and "Our Show 10," gaining nationwide popularity.

Mayor Lee Kang-deok expressed, "We are grateful to Jeon Yujin for actively participating in promoting the Pohang City Hometown Love Donation Program," and added, "Her bright and positive energy is expected to greatly help in raising awareness of the program."

Since being first appointed as a Pohang City Ambassador in 2021, singer Jeon Yujin has comforted citizens weary from daily life through performances such as the opening celebration of the 60th Gyeongbuk Provincial Sports Festival last year and the 2023 Pohang Citizens Consolation Concert. She was reappointed as a Pohang City Ambassador on the 17th.
