[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Su-yeon] Hwang Hyun-sik, CEO of LG Uplus, has canceled his attendance at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023. He judged that seeking solutions to the recent security incidents is a priority.

On the 19th, LG Uplus announced that CEO Hwang Hyun-sik decided to cancel his participation in MWC 2023 to respond to and find solutions for recent issues such as personal information breaches and DDoS attacks.

At this MWC 2023, Lee Sang-heon, Head of NW Advanced Development, Kim Dae-hee, Head of NW Infrastructure Technology Group, along with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), and business division executives from Infinista, will attend to discuss cooperation with overseas operators.
