[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jeong Young-gwon] Namwon City, Jeonbuk, announced on the 17th that it has selected the 2023 Namwon City TV First Half Video Reporters, who will deliver vivid news by filming various locations in Namwon with creative ideas and exceptional passion.
This first half video reporter group saw 22 applicants competing for 4 spots, resulting in a competition ratio of 5.5:1.
The eight video reporters who completed their activities last year produced 31 lively videos introducing Namwon’s charm to many viewers, including titles such as "Beautiful Scenery of Sannae" and "Gwanghallu Garden, a Representative Traditional Garden of Korea."
The current first half video reporters will also produce high-quality content reflecting the latest trends in various fields such as Namwon’s tourism and culture, and will communicate and empathize with viewers through Namwon City’s YouTube channel over the next five months until June.
A city official stated, “We plan to actively support the video reporters so they can showcase every corner of Namwon City,” adding, “We will approach Namwon City’s YouTube viewers more familiarly by producing fun and interesting videos instead of boring and stiff ones.”
