Gyeongnam Province, Unfold Your 'Opinion Bundle' at the February Residents' Meeting!

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Gyeongsangnam-do will hold the February Residents' Meeting at 9 a.m. on the 27th in the Provincial Government Main Building's Provincial Administration Conference Room.

According to Gyeongnam Province, Governor Park Wan-su and 10 residents will meet on that day to share opinions regarding provincial administration.

Starting this year, the province decided to hold the last weekly meeting of the month, which is usually attended by the governor and provincial government executives, as a Residents' Meeting to gather residents' voices.

The meeting will be conducted by inviting about 10 residents each month without limiting the fields, in order to timely reflect the diverse thoughts of residents. The format involves listening to residents' opinions and the governor responding.

It was announced that over 20 policy proposals related to livelihood economy, industry, welfare, environment, labor, etc., received from 16 residents who attended the Residents' Meeting on January 30, are being reflected and promoted in provincial administration.

Residents can apply to participate at any time by clicking the notification window displayed on the Gyeongsangnam-do website via computer or smartphone, selecting the desired month to participate, and entering personal information.

The final attendees will be individually notified by the province after considering factors such as age and activity fields in a balanced manner.
