Dongseo University Holds ICC Performance Presentation and Corporate Exchange Meeting

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Dongseo University LINC 3.0 Project Group recently held the ‘Corporate Collaboration Center (ICC) Performance Presentation and Corporate Exchange Meeting’ at Nongshim Hotel to share continuous industry-academia cooperation directions with companies.

The event aimed to share and disseminate the achievements created by companies and faculty members participating in the 2022 LINC 3.0 project and to build a future cooperation ecosystem through networking among industry, academia, and research, with about 100 industry-academia-research stakeholders attending.

Notably, Kang Pil-hyun, Director of Busan Design Promotion Agency; Choi Hong-seok, Vice Chairman of Busan Textile Fashion Industry Association; Ahn Yong-jun, Chairman of Busan Animation Association; and Kim Myung-ho, CEO of Art Malling, who have been engaged in various collaborations, attended the event.

The event featured a keynote speech titled ‘Meeting Metaverse Industrial Innovation to Prepare for the Future’ by Professor Kim Yong-hwan of the Big Data Artificial Intelligence Research Institute at CHA University.

Following this, performance presentations were given by Professor Cho Seung-woo, Head of the XR Content ICC Center; Professor Kim Kyung-won, Head of the CV Design ICC Center; and Professor Sung Eun-hee, Head of the DX Tourism ICC Center, who have achieved outstanding results in the project. Representative achievements of each Corporate Collaboration Center were exhibited and shared at the venue.

Additionally, Kim Hyung-sook, Head of Corporate Support Office of the LINC 3.0 Project Group, presented on the direction of industry-academia cooperation, and appreciation plaques were awarded to 11 excellent family companies including Seoreu, Eco Design Center, Re-Convention, and Hill Engineering in recognition of their efforts.

The Dongseo University LINC 3.0 Project Group is conducting various activities by launching three Corporate Collaboration Centers (ICC) focused on specialized fields with the goal of a ‘Meta-technology-based culture content industry-academia-research cooperation leading model.’
