Starbucks Korea announced on the 16th that it will introduce three new beverages, including the ‘Spring Strawberry Latte’ made with domestically grown Seolhyang strawberries, along with four new food items.
The Spring Strawberry Latte, first launched in 2020, has become one of the steady-selling drinks, selling nearly one million cups on average each year at launch. It features a fresh strawberry base made from freshly harvested domestic Seolhyang strawberries combined with the sweetness of milk. This year, various milk options have been specially added, allowing customers to enjoy a new flavor of the Spring Strawberry Latte. For a refreshing taste, choose coconut milk, and for a nutty flavor, select oat milk.
Also introduced is the ‘Lilac Blossom Tea,’ which expresses the purple hue of lilac flowers. The sweetness reminiscent of acacia honey and the harmony of herbs evoke the lilac flower, while the aloe gel in the drink resembles scattered petals, allowing both the eyes and palate to enjoy spring simultaneously.
The globally popular ‘Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso’ has also been launched in Korea for the first time this spring season. The Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso has been frequently featured on domestic social media as a ‘Starbucks drink you can only try abroad,’ and has been highly requested by customers for release. It is characterized by the rich oat milk, the sweetness of brown sugar, and the smoothness of the blonde shot, all intensified through shaking.
In addition, items such as the ‘Spring Strawberry Chocolate Sweet Box’ and ‘Spring Strawberry Castella Sand,’ both containing fresh domestic strawberries, are also being introduced.
To celebrate the launch of the new spring beverages, Starbucks is holding an event until the 28th of this month where Starbucks Rewards Green and Gold level members who purchase one of the new products via Siren Order using a Starbucks card registered to their account will receive 3 additional stars per item.
