Acquisition and Integration of JB Golf Academy

Golf practice brand ShowGolf announced on the 15th that it has established a golf lesson specialized subsidiary, 'ShowGolf Academy.'

ShowGolf Academy is a rebranded entity after acquiring the existing junior and elite golf education institution 'JB Golf Academy.' JB Golf Academy had about 80 affiliated professionals. It has over 15 years of expertise and capabilities in professional curriculums ranging from general lessons to athlete development. ShowGolf Academy plans to expand its affiliated professionals to 200 by combining JB Golf Academy's know-how with ShowGolf's marketing capabilities to provide differentiated services. They also set a policy to implement data-driven lessons using the swing analyzer 'FlightScope' installed at all ShowGolf branches.

All curriculums at ShowGolf Academy are applied based on athlete development programs tailored to the general public's level. Additionally, a specialized curriculum for juniors has been prepared. It is subdivided into elite athlete classes, athlete preparation classes that allow balancing academics and professional training, and specialized entrance exam classes.

ShowGolf Academy operates at ShowGolf Gayang Branch, Gimpo Airport Branch, and Dobong Branch. It is scheduled to launch at ShowGolf Hanam Branch next month. Jung Cheol, CEO of ShowGolf Academy, said, "The establishment of ShowGolf Academy will serve as a turning point that changes the existing lesson industry's paradigm by combining the golf platform and academy."
