HiteJinro Attaches '2030 Busan Expo' Label to Terra

On the 15th, HiteJinro announced that starting this month, it will include support messages for the 2030 Busan Expo (World Expo) on the secondary trademark of Terra to promote the event.


HiteJinro and Busan City signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) last May to promote the bid for the 2030 Busan Expo and to spread the enthusiasm of the citizens for the bid. Since then, HiteJinro has been selling its world’s number one soju product, Chamisul, with labels periodically featuring support messages for the Busan Expo bid. Following Chamisul, HiteJinro plans to use its flagship beer brand Terra to promote Busan’s Expo bid. Additionally, promotional materials related to the Expo bid will be displayed in major areas of Busan to target both Busan citizens and tourists visiting the city.


Oh Seong-taek, Executive Director of Marketing at HiteJinro, said, “Under the core value of dedication to customers and society, HiteJinro, as Korea’s leading liquor company, wants to contribute to attracting a global event to the international city of Busan.” He added, “We will contribute to raising awareness of the 2030 Busan Expo bid through continuous marketing and promotional activities.”
