"T'way Air Delivers 'Winter Blankets and Relief Supplies' to Turkey"

Blankets, 2,000 Pieces, and More

[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Gyumin] T'way Air announced on the 15th that it will support blankets, cold-weather supplies, and other relief items to aid the victims severely affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

The airline plans to deliver 2,000 blankets intended for in-flight sales to the earthquake-affected areas. Due to the harsh conditions and subzero temperatures in the affected regions, the risk of a "secondary disaster" is increasing. T'way Air has stepped up to provide items that help protect the victims' body heat effectively.

At the company volunteer club level, relief donations were recently collected and donated to the Korean Red Cross. The company is also conducting relief supply support activities by collecting items voluntarily donated by all employees and delivering them to the affected areas.

The donated relief items from employees mainly include unused products such as blankets, scarves, winter hats, gloves, and thermos bottles, which will be carefully selected and delivered to victims and volunteers on site.

A T'way Air official stated, "We decided to deliver these items with the hope of providing some strength to those who suffered serious damage from the earthquake," adding, "We hope for the swift recovery and reconstruction of the affected areas so that daily life can be restored as soon as possible."
