For Special Withholding Obligors of 2022 Corporate Local Income Tax
Used as Verification Data for Prepaid Tax Amounts in Corporate Local Income Tax Final Returns
Submission Possible Online via Wetax, Etax, or In-Person at the Tax Division 2 of the District Office
Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) has announced that special withholding obligors of the 2022 corporate local income tax must submit the special withholding statement by February 28.
A ‘corporate local income tax special withholding obligor’ refers to domestic corporations and foreign corporations with business establishments in Korea who, when paying interest or dividend income, withhold 10% of the corporate tax withholding amount as corporate local income tax and report and pay it.

Therefore, special withholding obligors who have corporate tax withholding details on interest and dividend income for 2022 must prepare and submit a statement containing details such as corporate income taxpayer, income payment date, withheld tax amount, and jurisdictional local government to the local government where the business is located by the 28th.
The district sent submission notices to 234 business sites of special withholding obligors on the 13th and is actively promoting this through the district website and electronic billboards.
Submission can be made online via the Wetax or Etax websites, or by visiting the Tax Division 2 of Gwangjin-gu Office to submit via storage media (CD, USB) or in writing.
For more details, refer to the Gwangjin-gu Office website or contact the Tax Division 2.
Mayor Kim Kyung-ho said, “We ask that the statements be submitted within the deadline to ensure smooth processing of corporate local income tax special withholding.”
