Delivery Orders on the Rise! Boosting the Local Economy!
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam announced on the 14th that the public-private partnership delivery app ‘Nubigo,’ aimed at reducing delivery app intermediary fees for small business owners, will be officially launched starting from the 15th.
The public-private partnership delivery app Nubigo is produced and operated by the private company Smart Market Service, while the city provides administrative support such as promoting Nubigo.
Nubigo is a user-friendly delivery app where small business owners only pay 2% of the payment amount as a delivery intermediary fee without any entry or advertising fees. Users can use the mobile Changwon Love Gift Certificate ‘Nubijeon’ when ordering and paying through Nubigo, which is expected to greatly benefit the local economy.
Until now, the official launch was delayed due to errors, causing great disappointment among small business owners burdened by delivery app intermediary fees.
Following the recent pilot operation inspection confirming that the Nubigo app is functioning normally, the city plans to promote the official launch of Nubigo to alleviate the difficulties faced by small business owners.
Park Ju-ho, head of the Regional Economy Division, said, “Although there are shortcomings compared to private apps, we will do our best to make it a user-friendly delivery app that can help the local economy through future improvements, enhancements, and active promotion.”
