Dr. Bang Gi-won Introduces Three Types of Scalp Scaling 'Capsule Shampoo'

Dr. Bang Gi-won announced on the 14th that they have newly launched three types of 'Capsule Shampoo' containing biotin, kelp, and Houttuynia cordata scalp scaling capsules.

The new capsule shampoos are lined up in three types: Biotin Shampoo, which contains biotin and a vitamin complex to care for both scalp and hair at once; Kelp Shampoo, which contains protein and mineral-rich kelp and sebum control ingredients to aid deep cleansing; and Houttuynia Cordata Shampoo, which helps soothe sensitive scalp by balancing scalp oil and moisture.

All three capsule shampoos are formulated with the core scalp care technology, 'scaling capsules.' They mix capsules of optimal sizes 17mm and 20mm for thorough scalp waste removal and rich foam, enabling gentle deep cleansing. The scaling capsules are plant-based capsules made from agar, a type of seaweed called Eucheuma, which helps low-irritation scaling, and the minerals and amino acids inside the capsules care for hair roots. In particular, they assist the effective penetration of shampoo active ingredients and form a moisture protective barrier to improve the scalp environment.

Certified by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety as a functional product for alleviating hair loss symptoms, the shampoos boast a refreshing and clean feeling without any residue from capsules or shampoo.
