LG CNS Launches Research Platform 'Quinoa'... Expanding B2C Services

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] LG CNS announced on the 14th that it has launched and started the service of the community platform ‘Quinoa’.

Quinoa is a crowd research platform. It is a platform where anyone?from company representatives seeking business insights to general customers wanting opinions on everyday curiosities?can easily create surveys via mobile, check results, and share them.

Quinoa is named after the grain 'quinoa.' It means ‘small but meaningful thoughts and opinions gather to provide insights about the world.’ Quinoa combines the core function of research?asking and answering questions?with a community approach that allows ▲ anyone to create and respond to surveys for free and ▲ enables communication.

Quinoa is free with just membership registration. By using Quinoa, users can post surveys anytime on ▲ sudden curiosities ▲ personal concerns such as human relationships ▲ company issues and receive survey results. For example, a young professional can investigate everyday questions like ‘How much is appropriate for a friend’s congratulatory money?’ or ‘What perfume do the opposite sex like the most?’ Meanwhile, an HR manager at a company can seek opinions on topics like ‘What welfare benefits do employees prefer the most?’

Quinoa’s community approach makes the survey itself a communication content. Users exchange opinions through comments and can discover meaningful ideas via the ‘like’ function. Since survey contents are basically open, users can check other surveys anytime. If privacy is desired, a private setting is also available.

Quinoa allows users to directly select respondents by gender, age group, etc., enabling more reliable results for intended survey topics. Follow-up surveys can also be conducted targeting all respondents or only those who answered specific questions in already completed surveys.

LG CNS plans to introduce a ‘Group Panel’ feature in Quinoa, where membership requires meeting specific conditions such as occupation, major, or hobbies. Group Panels are expected to serve as high-quality panels where people sharing the same topics exchange constructive opinions and provide more reliable answers to questions in specific areas.

LG CNS is expanding its data service domain from B2B (business-to-business) to the B2C (business-to-consumer) market. Last year, LG CNS launched B2C services such as the MyData app ‘Harujogak,’ the English speaking learning app ‘Butter Time,’ and the home appliance community app ‘220 Code & Code.’

Yoon Mijeong, Executive Director of LG CNS B2X Service Division, emphasized, “Based on LG CNS’s strengths in digital service planning and construction, data integration, analysis, and utilization capabilities, we will continuously innovate ‘customer experience’ through various B2X services that solve customers’ pain points.”
