On the 13th, ACC announced its four major goals and 12 implementation tasks for this year. The four major goals are ▲systematizing the foundation for Asian research and convergence content creation and production ▲expanding regional, national, and global networks ▲spreading and understanding Asian cultural values ▲enhancing exhibition viewing services.

In particular, ACC plans to focus its capabilities on the production and research of Asian convergence content. First, it will strengthen research and collection of Asian cultural resources. It plans to research key themes by year and produce various content such as intangible cultural heritage videos and the Asian Culture Map.

ACC will also operate a permanent convergence exhibition hall based in Asia. Performances and exhibitions linked to this year’s core content theme, "urban culture," will be presented.

ACC will present the ACC-created performance "Dongsanggi," which embodies Asian identity and contemporary values. From April to September, exhibitions such as "Walking, Wandering," themed on city roads and spaces, and "Gaia’s City," introducing sustainable cities in the era of climate crisis through virtual reality, will be held.

Regional, national, and global networks will also be expanded. The "Asia Arts Community" committee, composed of government representatives from Asian regions, will be extended from the existing Southeast Asia and Central Asia regions to include South Asia and Northeast Asia.

ACC also plans to strengthen educational capabilities to help understand Asian culture. It will conduct the "Jeonmunin" course, a future-oriented convergence-based creation and production expert training program, and the "Baeumin" course, utilizing Asian cultural resources and content.

Lee Kanghyun, director of the National Asia Culture Center, stated, "We will do our best to make the center’s content a cultural power plant for Asia and a cultural gathering place for local residents."
