The Council Newsletter Editorial Committee held a meeting on the 13th to conduct in-depth discussions on the newsletter's revamp, future publication plans, and improvement measures.

At this meeting, it was decided to change the format from the existing booklet style to a tabloid newspaper style that residents can easily access and comfortably read, and to increase the publication frequency from quarterly to once a month, with 30,000 copies per issue.

In terms of content, the newsletter will expand pages covering various legislative activities for residents, and provide unique reading materials that enhance council members' political philosophies and local pride through member interviews and features on their constituencies.

Additionally, it will include diverse and useful information such as various systems and legal knowledge to assist residents in their daily lives, and establish a new section reflecting residents' voices on pressing issues like the climate crisis and regional extinction.

Furthermore, new features will introduce Gyeongnam’s local attractions, hot places, and its food, sights, and entertainment.

In particular, questions to the provincial government and 5-minute free speeches can now be conveniently viewed as videos via QR codes.

Distribution will continuously seek new outlets beyond town, township, and neighborhood community centers and related organizations, targeting public institutions and groups serving those with difficulties using SNS (such as the elderly and disabled), public, small, and specialized libraries, public cultural and arts centers, health centers, etc., to share legislative activities with more residents.
