According to the famous fashion magazine WWD, "Videos of Smith dancing in imaginative latex creations have garnered millions of views on Instagram and TikTok."

The outfit worn by Sam Smith was custom-made by the British fashion label Harri.

Smith's fashion this time particularly emphasized both shoulders and thighs. Additionally, they wore high-heel boots and accessorized with a pearl earring on the left ear and a stud earring on the right ear to add a point of interest.

In an interview, the designer said, "Sam has recently received many malicious comments following their song about body image, 'Unholy.' I wanted to create an image of them that people have never seen before."

However, despite the designer's explanation, Smith's outfit sparked heated debate.

The New York Post and others reported that criticism such as "Someone is desperately seeking attention" and "It's getting tiresome now" has poured in regarding Smith's outfit.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time Smith's provocative outfit has become a hot topic.

Earlier, on the 5th (local time), Smith performed wearing a red outfit at the 65th Grammy Awards held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, USA. Following the performance, expressions and poses shown during the show reportedly led to criticism on social media, with comments calling it "satanic."
