[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] On Monday the 13th, the whole country will be cloudy with rain falling in some areas.
Rain or snow is expected in Gangwon Yeongdong, the northern East Coast of Gyeongbuk, and the northeastern mountains of Gyeongbuk, with occasional rain in Jeju Island as well.
Rain will fall until the morning in the southern coast of Jeonnam, the southern Gyeongbuk region, and the Gyeongnam region. From late afternoon, light raindrops less than 0.1mm or snow less than 0.1cm may fall in some parts of inland Chungbuk, eastern inland Jeolla, and western inland Gyeongsang. Late at night, rain will also fall on the southern East Coast of Gyeongbuk.
Expected precipitation until dawn the next day is 5 to 20mm in Gangwon Yeongdong and the northern East Coast of Gyeongbuk, around 5mm in the northeastern mountains of Gyeongbuk and Jeju Island. Expected snowfall amounts are 5 to 20cm in the Gangwon mountains, 1 to 5cm on the Gangwon East Coast, and 1 to 3cm in the northern East Coast of Gyeongbuk, northeastern mountains of Gyeongbuk, and Jeju Island mountains.
As of 7 a.m. that day, temperatures in major areas are Seoul 4.5°C, Incheon 3.6°C, Suwon 3.3°C, Chuncheon 4.6°C, Gangneung 3.3°C, Cheongju 5.4°C, Daejeon 5.6°C, Jeonju 4.7°C, Gwangju 6.0°C, Jeju 8.9°C, Daegu 5.3°C, Busan 7.7°C, Ulsan 7.4°C, Changwon 6.7°C, etc.
The daytime high temperature is forecast to be between 4 and 13°C, with Seoul reaching a high of 9°C.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Bad' in Sejong, Chungnam, and Jeonbuk, and 'Good' to 'Moderate' in other regions.
However, Incheon is expected to have 'Bad' levels in the morning, and Chungnam is expected to have 'Very Bad' levels.
Sea waves will be 1.0 to 3.0 meters in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the South Sea nearshore.
Wave heights in the offshore seas (about 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 1.5 to 4.0 meters in the East and South Seas, and 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the West Sea.
