Muan-gun Holds Inaugural Signboard Ceremony for First Public Late-Night Pharmacy

Barun Pharmacy in Namaek Open from 10 PM to Midnight, 365 Days

[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) held the plaque ceremony for Muan-gun's first public late-night pharmacy on the 8th.


According to the county on the 10th, the plaque ceremony was attended by Governor Kim San, Vice Chairman Im Dong-hyun, Provincial Assemblyman Na Gwang-guk, Muan-gun Pharmacists Association President Lee Joo-hyung, and heads of organizations in Samhyang-eup.

Barun Pharmacy, designated as Muan-gun's first public late-night pharmacy from the 1st of last month, operates 365 days a year, including late-night hours and holidays, from 10 PM to midnight.


It is expected to play a role in alleviating residents' inconvenience in purchasing medicines and minimizing misuse and side effects of pharmaceuticals through professional pharmacists' medication guidance.


The public late-night pharmacy was selected as Barun Pharmacy located in Namak by recommendation of the Muan-gun Pharmacists Association and designated by Jeollanam-do, which provides operational expenses support for late-night operation.


Governor Kim San said, “Through the operation of the public late-night pharmacy, residents will be able to correctly take necessary medicines late at night under pharmacists' guidance, greatly helping to protect their health. We will continue to do our best to secure the health rights of our residents.”
