Joined as Head of In-House Independent Company for B2B Business
Overseeing Corporate Travel Air Tickets, Hotels, and Welfare Partnerships for Corporations
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] MyRealTrip (CEO Lee Dong-gun) announced on the 10th that it has appointed Yuk Kyung-geon, former CEO of Hana Tour, as the head of its Corporate Independent Company (CIC) overseeing the business-to-business (B2B) division.
Mr. Yuk joined Hana Tour in its early days in 1995, serving as head of business and sales divisions, vice president, and most recently as CEO. At MyRealTrip, he will lead the B2B CIC, targeting companies including travel agencies, leveraging his over 30 years of experience.
The MyRealTrip B2B CIC, led by Mr. Yuk, will focus on supplying MyRealTrip products to corporate clients. Starting in April, it plans to officially offer a full range of services including airline tickets and hotels needed for employee business trips, as well as guaranteed incentives and welfare mall services. It will also concentrate on developing online businesses that are difficult for nationwide agencies or small travel agencies to operate alone, creating ventures that coexist with the platform.
Mr. Yuk said, "Having indirectly experienced the progress MyRealTrip has made as a platform in the travel industry over the past decade, I decided to join with confidence in its greater growth potential," adding, "I will do my best to establish a mutually beneficial structure by providing new revenue through close collaboration with travel agencies nationwide."
