HK Innoen Receives Award for Contributions to Community Development in Icheon City

On the 10th, HK Innoen announced that it received a commendation for contributions to city development from Mayor Kim Kyung-hee of Icheon at the 'Dialogue with Residents of Majang-myeon, Icheon City' event held at the Majang-myeon office in Icheon City on the 9th.

It was explained that the recognition was for its efforts in carrying out various social contribution activities for the development and coexistence of the local community together with Icheon City, where its business site is located. The event was attended by Choi Nak-hyun, Head of HK Innoen Icheon Plant, Mayor Kim Kyung-hee of Icheon City, and other officials.

Since March of last year, HK Innoen has signed a business agreement with Majang-myeon, Icheon City, where its business site is located, and has been striving for coexistence with the local community by regularly communicating and discussing local issues.

To help elderly people living alone who are in welfare blind spots, HK Innoen selected beneficiaries in cooperation with local welfare centers and conducted the 'Senior Citizens' Day Health Support Campaign,' where employees personally delivered health kits consisting of health functional foods, masks, and other items to 200 elderly single-person households.

During the period when COVID-19 was resurging, the company continued activities to improve the welfare of local residents by providing health foods and quarantine supplies to vulnerable elderly groups.
