Not king dumplings, but the real king," unable to hide his excitement.
Buckingham Palace is a royal residence located in Westminster, London, UK. Traditionally, the British monarch has presided over national events and hosted distinguished guests here. According to the British public broadcaster BBC and others, on the 1st, King Charles III and Queen Camilla held an 'Asian Community Reception' at Buckingham Palace. When Josh asked, "Do you like Korean food?" King Charles smiled and said, "I really like Korean food. As long as it’s not too spicy," Josh recalled. He was deeply moved, saying, "To see that smile in person..."
Guk Ga-bi, who attended the event wearing hanbok, also posted related photos on her Instagram. She said, "Meeting the British king and queen was really nerve-wracking," and added, "They knew about Korean Englishman. I am proud of my husband and Ollie."
Meanwhile, Josh Carrott, a British native born in the southern coastal city of Brighton, has been running the YouTube channel 'Korean Englishman' since June 2013. When he started YouTube, he created content introducing Korean travel, popular culture, and food, gaining great popularity mainly among domestic netizens. The channel has now grown into a major channel with over 5 million subscribers.
