Logistics real estate consulting company Mateplus (General President Lee Chang-wook) announced that on the 2nd, it signed an MOU with Near Solution (CEO Jung Young-kyo), Lubentis (CEO Oh Sang-gyu), and Clobot (CEO Kim Chang-gu) at Clobot's headquarters located in Bundang to provide a one-stop service for building a smart logistics center platform.
Through this MOU, Mateplus plans to discover opportunities for developing hub logistics centers based on big data and build an end-to-end platform integrating logistics automation solutions with AI and IoT technologies, thereby providing one-stop services tailored to customer needs.
Meanwhile, Near Solution, which possesses optimized AI-based intelligent solutions and IoT technology, Lubentis, which develops RPA consulting and WMS systems based on Near Solution's logistics big data, and Clobot, which provides logistics robots, equipment, and related control solution construction, have pledged to increase efficiency by integrating IT platforms into the processes from logistics center development to operation together with Mateplus.
Recently, logistics centers have been rapidly transforming into smart logistics centers. The establishment of a smart logistics center platform through the cooperation of these four companies is significant as it represents collaboration between a logistics real estate consulting firm and major logistics IT service solution companies.
Since 2017, Mateplus has established a logistics team and provided partnerships among players in the logistics real estate market based on services covering the entire investment cycle, including asset management (PM), lease marketing (LM), purchase and sale consulting, development consulting, and market research. In addition, professionals with experience in both logistics and real estate serve as a bridge connecting these two fields.
Near Solution supports customer business innovation through the latest IT technologies and supplies WCS, WES, and Visibility solutions that digitalize processes and data in manufacturing/logistics sites to optimize logistics center operations, expanding references from large corporations to medium and small enterprises.
Lubentis, a logistics solution specialist company, leads the logistics 4.0 era and smart logistics market by developing AGV, artificial intelligence, big data, and IoT technologies based on core logistics information solutions such as warehouse management system (WMS) and transportation management system (TMS).
Clobot, an autonomous driving robot service specialist company, selected logistics robots as a core new business area after its Series B investment and has made focused investments. Based on its capabilities in heterogeneous robot control and robot-specialized integration, it plans to utilize non-fixed transport solutions such as autonomous mobile robots (AMR) and automated guided vehicles (AGV) in logistics service platforms.
No Jong-su, Executive Director of Mateplus Logistics Business Division, said, “Once the smart logistics center platform is established through this strategic collaboration, it will greatly help provide advisory services that consider efficiency and soundness necessary for decision-making by key industry players,” adding, “We will continue to make our best efforts as a partner to customers and contribute steadily to the development of the logistics real estate market.”
Lee Chang-wook, General President of Genstar Mate, stated, “The commercial real estate market is seeing increasingly diverse customers, and accordingly, customer needs are diversifying,” and added, “We are very pleased to have created an opportunity to provide Mateplus’s differentiated logistics real estate services to customers through collaboration with major logistics automation companies, and we will do our best to provide services and information that satisfy our customers.”
