Partial Additional Support for Rental Fee

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Woowa Brothers, which operates the logistics service for Baedal Minjok, is launching an initiative to build an eco-friendly delivery ecosystem through electric two-wheeler rentals.
Woowa Brothers announced on the 9th that it has partnered with the bike rental specialist company 'A Rental & Service' to provide electric two-wheeler rental services to delivery drivers and will additionally support part of the rental costs.
Through this program, delivery drivers can rent electric two-wheelers for a minimum monthly cost of 369,600 KRW (based on comprehensive insurance for those aged 30 and above). The typical rental cost for electric two-wheelers is usually around 530,000 KRW per month.
Woowa Brothers will provide additional support for part of the rental fees to users of this partnership. If delivery activity conditions are met, users can receive up to 80,000 KRW per month for 12 months, saving up to 960,000 KRW annually. Including this additional support, electric two-wheelers can be used at a minimum monthly cost in the 200,000 KRW range.
They will also provide BSS usage vouchers worth 100,000 KRW (8,000 points). BSS is a battery swapping station for electric two-wheelers, with over 200 locations installed in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. The points given upon rental through the partnership can be used to charge batteries for approximately 4,000 km of driving.
Meanwhile, Baemin B Mart has reduced packaging materials, achieving a carbon emission reduction effect of about 240 tons last year, demonstrating eco-friendly management throughout the entire logistics process.
A Woowa Brothers representative said, "Through efforts such as expanding electric two-wheelers and reducing packaging materials, we will establish ourselves as a comprehensive eco-friendly logistics company."
