The Next Museum is an offline NFT exhibition space opened in December last year through a partnership between Lotte Department Store and Ground X, the blockchain technology subsidiary of the Kakao Group. This exhibition, themed "Valentine Side Story, Stories of Singles," features eight emerging Korean artists including Kim Wanjin, Lee Donggu, and Rokan Kim. Four carefully selected NFT artworks are displayed via the 'Clip Drops' app installed on Samsung Smart TVs. These artworks can also be pre-ordered as a package with Samsung Neo QLED. Samsung Neo QLED, with its Neo Quantum Matrix technology and AI-based detail enhancement, is expected to provide visitors with a vivid NFT content experience.
This exhibition showcases both horizontal and vertical 3D NFT art using The Frame and an automatic rotating wall mount. The Frame, equipped with 4K resolution, applies a 'matte display' that reduces light reflection, allowing viewers to appreciate the original colors and textures of the artworks even under bright lighting. By installing the separately purchasable automatic rotating wall mount, users can easily switch the TV screen between vertical and horizontal modes with just a click of the remote control, adapting to the content.
Kim Cheolgi, Vice President of Samsung Electronics' Visual Display Business Division, said, "Samsung Neo QLED is the optimal display for purchasing and enjoying NFTs," adding, "Through active collaboration across different industries, we will continue to expand new and diverse viewing experiences for consumers."
