Hwasun-gun, Recruiting Young Food Truck Operators

Local Government-Led Food Truck Operations, Applications Open Until the 27th

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 8th that it will recruit and support operators led by the local government to start a business using food trucks.

Eligibility requirements are young people and newlyweds aged 18 to 49 who have been registered residents in Hwasun-gun for more than one year and are able to report and operate a food truck business.

The support scale provides up to 16 million KRW per food truck for remodeling costs, with a total of 5 trucks supported.

The food truck operation locations are ▲ Keunjae Parking Lot in Suman-ri, Hwasun-eup ▲ Parking Lot near Donggu-ri Reservoir ▲ Hanium Parking Lot ▲ Goindol Parking Lot in Hyosan-ri, Dogok-myeon ▲ Goindol Parking Lot in Daesin-ri, Chunyang-myeon, totaling 5 locations, and applicants can choose one location to apply for.

A county official stated, “We plan to select applicants after receiving food truck application forms and verifying eligibility,” adding, “In case of competition, selection will be made through a public lottery by location.”
