Coupang announced on the 8th that it received a commendation plaque as an outstanding company supporting the employment of military personnel from the Ministry of National Defense.

On the same day, at the 'Meeting with Outstanding Companies Supporting Military Personnel Employment' held at the Army Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, Coupang was selected as a recipient of the Minister of National Defense's commendation plaque for its contribution to providing job support for soldiers scheduled to be discharged to help their social settlement. Five outstanding companies supporting military personnel employment, including Coupang, attended this meeting.

Coupang has been actively supporting the employment of military personnel by signing business agreements with the Army in 2021 and the Air Force last year. It consistently participates in the military personnel employment fair hosted by the Ministry of National Defense, offering recruitment consultations, employment lectures, and mentoring by current employees. Additionally, through cooperation with the Defense Transition Education Institute on customized employment programs, Coupang strives to provide employment opportunities for discharged soldiers.
