Middle-aged women in their 50s who embarked on a bus trip after a long time. Their excitement lasts only briefly as they face an unexpected accident and each reflects on their own life.

The original musical "Again, Spring" by the Seoul Metropolitan Musical Company, which deals with diverse and honest stories of middle-aged women, is returning.


The Seoul Metropolitan Musical Company announced on the 8th that "Again, Spring" will be performed at Sejong Center S Theater from March 15 to April 1.


First premiered last year, "Again, Spring" is a devising musical created based on in-depth interviews with ordinary middle-aged women, including actresses in their 50s from the Seoul Metropolitan Musical Company, and received favorable reviews from a wide range of audiences during its run.


The work depicts seven middle-aged women who set out on a spring outing bus trip and encounter an unexpected accident, portraying women who choose "a life that starts again" rather than "a fading life" through cheerful dance and songs.


The seven senior actresses of the Seoul Metropolitan Musical Company, including Wang Eunsuk and Kwon Myunghyun, who met the audience in the premiere stage, will welcome the audience as the "Again" team.


Additionally, the "Spring" team, composed of newly joined actresses Moon Heekyung, Jang Ijoo, Koo Hyeryung, Yoo Boyoung, Kim Hyunjin, Lee Yeongyeong, and Yoo Mi, will deliver a lively chat session of middle-aged women.


Director Lee Gippeum, writer Kim Solji, and composer Yeonrimok, who were part of the original creative team, are also reuniting for the revival.


Director Lee said, "Please look forward to the deepening of the premiere's intensity while also seeing how the newly joined actresses blend into the fundamental aspects of their characters yet interpret them differently."


This performance offers matinees on Thursday at 11 a.m. and Friday at 3 p.m. to increase viewing opportunities for middle-aged women. A discount of up to 50% is also provided when watching with friends.
