Superintendent Kim Dae-jung recently announced plans to actively promote the operation of the ‘Future Education Coaching Center’ through major policy meetings and discussions with members.

To this end, a dedicated team will be organized this year to plan and operate the strengthening of future education competencies for teaching staff, and next year it will be expanded and reorganized into the ‘Future Education Coaching Center.’

First, in accordance with the policy to fully expand digital-based education training, about 100 leader instructors who professionally research and practice classes using edutech will be trained and operated, and edutech training rooms, digital lecture rooms, and AI lecture rooms will be established.

In particular, to apply this in school settings, a platform cooperation system will be operated together with related departments of the provincial office of education, the Creative Convergence Education Institute, and external specialized organizations.

Through individualized, learner-led project class training, a paradigm shift to future education will be induced, and in cooperation with coaching specialized institutions, the Jeonnam-type T-Coaching program (tentative name) will be developed.

Additionally, a leading education practice leader group for the paradigm shift of future education will be fostered, and a coach (tentative name) certification system will be introduced.

Superintendent Kim Dae-jung stated, “The role of teachers in future education needs to change from teaching to ‘coaching,’” and added, “Through the operation of the Future Education Coaching Center, I hope teachers naturally combine teaching and coaching to lead future education.”
