[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] At around 0:20 on the 8th, a fire broke out in an underground entertainment bar of a motel in Nae-dong, Miryang-si, Gyeongnam, causing 14 people, including 3 bar employees and 11 motel guests, to evacuate.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, after receiving a report from a bar employee that a fire had occurred on the basement first floor, 57 firefighters and 19 fire trucks were dispatched to the scene.
The fire burned the interior of the bar, electrical equipment, and fixtures, and was completely extinguished around 4:32 a.m.
The fire caused property damage estimated at about 50 million won according to the fire station, but there were no casualties.
The police and fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
