Gijang-gun Holds 2023 National and City Funding Discovery Report Meeting

The national and city fund projects discovered at this meeting total 26 projects worth 59.8 billion KRW, including government policies, regional balanced development, and public contest projects to improve the quality of life for residents.

The main projects include ▲ Southern Area Wide-area Tourism Development Project - Collaboration Art Road Garden Creation Project (150 billion KRW national fund, 7.5 billion KRW city fund) ▲ Mundong Living Area Fishing Village New Vitality Promotion Project (7 billion KRW national fund, 900 million KRW city fund) ▲ Agricultural and Industrial Complex Package Support Project (4.5 billion KRW national fund) ▲ Drive Platform Project (3 billion KRW national fund, 1.5 billion KRW city fund) ▲ Dongbaek Sea Area Sea Forest Creation (950 million KRW national fund, 100 million KRW city fund), and the county plans to focus administrative efforts on promoting these national and city fund discovery projects to secure budgets for tourism revitalization and regional development.

County Governor Jeong Jong-bok, who directly presided over the report meeting, urged, "We must strengthen cooperation systems by frequently visiting central government departments, the National Assembly, and city hall to form a preliminary consensus on projects essential to our county, and continuously discover distinctive and diverse projects suitable for our county according to the central government's key directions."

Based on the projects discovered in the 1st report meeting, the county plans to seek measures to check progress and respond, actively cope with various public contest projects, and hold the 2nd report meeting in March to discover additional new projects.
