On the 7th, Volkswagen announced that it will conduct a global content campaign for the ID.4 in collaboration with Marvel Studios. Before the movie's release, Volkswagen will showcase a customized advertisement co-produced with Marvel Studios for 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.' Behind-the-scenes footage revealing the film's production process and the appearance of Volkswagen's electric sports utility vehicle (SUV) ID.4 will also be released.
The movie 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' tells the story of the Ant-Man family trapped in the unknown world of the Quantum Realm, fighting against Kang, the most powerful villain in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) history and the conqueror who rules the infinite universe. It is the first Marvel blockbuster of 2023 that transcends time and space.
Volkswagen's high-performance pure electric vehicle ID.4 GTX appears as the family car of the protagonists Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne in 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.' It is expected to showcase both agile driving performance and the qualities of a family SUV.
Gilbert Heise, Head of Global Brand Management and Consumer Insights at Volkswagen, said, "Ant-Man is a Marvel Cinematic Universe character who has gained high favor with outstanding humor and authenticity," adding, "Through this collaboration and the ID.4 global content campaign, Volkswagen will expand its touchpoints with millions of customers worldwide."
To commemorate this collaboration, Volkswagen Korea is holding a ticket giveaway event for 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' on its official Instagram channel until the 8th. By leaving a comment with expectations for the movie, 30 winners will be selected by lottery. Winners will be announced on the 9th through comments on the event post.
