Number One for 11 Consecutive Weeks Since November 28 Last Year
Lydia Ko (New Zealand) maintained her No. 1 position for the 11th consecutive week in the women's golf world rankings announced in the second week of February.
On the 6th (local time), Lydia Ko defended her top spot with a ranking point of 7.72 in the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings. Since reclaiming the No. 1 position for the first time in 5 years and 5 months on November 28 last year, she has held the lead for 11 consecutive weeks.
With the LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) entering a break period from the season opener until February 23, there were no significant changes in the top rankings. Minjee Lee (Australia) ranked 3rd with 6.19 ranking points, and Atthaya Thitikul (Thailand) was 4th with 5.80 ranking points.
The highest-ranked Korean player was Ko Jin-young, who ranked 5th with 5.70 ranking points. However, the points gap between her and the leader Lydia Ko slightly widened from 1.98 to 2.02 points.
Jeon Ji-hee and Kim Hyo-joo also maintained their previous week's positions at 8th (4.73 points) and 9th (4.33 points), respectively. Among domestic players, Park Min-ji was the highest-ranked with 3.33 ranking points, placing 16th. Jennifer Kupcho (USA) narrowly led Park Min-ji with 3.34 points, ranking 15th.
