Selection of 3 Private Agencies, 1499 Parcels in 6 Districts
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Ulsan City will begin the cadastral readjustment project this year targeting six project districts, including Banggu 9 District.
The cadastral readjustment project is a project that digitalizes national land information by correcting the registered details in the cadastral register through cadastral surveying and land investigation in areas where the paper cadastral registers, created over 100 years ago, do not match the actual land use status.
The survey targets are six project districts: Banggu 9 District, Yaeum 5 District, Jeonha 4 District, Dalcheon 1 District, Eonyang Bancheon 2 District, and Sangbuk Deokhyeon 1 District, covering a total area of 1,499 parcels and 597,589 square meters.
Ulsan City selected three private agencies to participate in the cadastral readjustment through an open recruitment conducted by the Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation, and will carry out the project over two years from this year until the end of 2024.
The private agencies and the Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation, the responsible executing agency, will jointly conduct the survey, and the cadastral readjustment surveying costs will be fully supported by national funds.
An official from Ulsan City said, “With the expanded role of private agents in the cadastral readjustment project, collaboration between the public and private sectors is expected to create jobs and other benefits.”
This year marks the second year since the introduction of the responsible executing agency system for the cadastral readjustment project.
