Eurozone Retail Sales Down 2.7% Month-on-Month

[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] On the 6th (local time), according to Eurostat, the statistical authority of the European Union (EU), retail sales in the Eurozone decreased by 2.7% in December last year compared to the previous month.

This decline was more pronounced than the market forecast of a 2.5% decrease.

It not only worsened compared to the 1.2% increase recorded in November of the same year but also decreased by 2.8% compared to the same month of the previous year.
