Bitnine Expands Overseas R&D Centers

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Bitnine is expanding its global research and development (R&D) centers. The goal is to expand overseas business based on technology recognized in the global market.

On the 6th, Bitnine announced that it has expanded its R&D centers from the existing Silicon Valley in the United States to Korea, Canada, India, and Pakistan.

The strategy is to increase the number of developers from the current 50 to over 200 to rapidly expand competitive proprietary products.

A Bitnine official said, "It has recently become difficult to hire high-level software developers in the domestic market," but added, "By expanding R&D centers, we will be able to hire personnel in a reasonable way." He also added, "The low-cost, high-efficiency strategy will contribute to improving operating profit margins."

Bitnine expects its overseas business to grow rapidly through the commercialization of 'Apache AGE' scheduled for the first half of this year. Apache AGE, which Bitnine advanced in May last year, was promoted to a top-level project (TLP) of the Apache Foundation, the world's largest open-source foundation, attracting attention. Thanks to the high recognition of the graph database Apache AGE, applicants flood in every time recruitment is conducted.
