One Missing Person Found Dead in the Blue Protection Cabin

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] At around 3:22 a.m. on the 6th, one missing person was found dead inside the cabin of the capsized vessel 'Cheongboho.'

Rescue authorities confirmed one missing crew member near the bedroom inside the cabin during an underwater search of Cheongboho.

During the underwater search, a civilian diver succeeded in entering the Cheongboho cabin and found the deceased missing person inside the cabin early that morning.

Cheongboho began flooding and capsized at around 11:19 p.m. on the 4th, with 3 of the 12 crew members rescued and 9 missing.

The interior of Cheongboho was entangled with various fishing gear and nets, and due to the internal structure of the double bulkhead, it was difficult to penetrate, causing difficulties in the underwater search.
