The S23 series consists of three models: the 'Galaxy S23 Ultra' with a built-in S Pen, the 'Galaxy S23 Plus', and the 'Galaxy S23'. Each model will be available in four colors: Green, Cream, Lavender, and Phantom Black.
The S23 Ultra with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at 1,599,400 KRW, and the 12GB RAM with 512GB model is 1,720,400 KRW. Samsung.com exclusively sells the 12GB RAM 1TB model, priced at 1,962,400 KRW.
The S23 Plus 256GB and 512GB models are priced at 1,353,000 KRW and 1,474,000 KRW respectively, while the S23 256GB and 512GB models are priced at 1,155,000 KRW and 1,276,000 KRW respectively.
Samsung.com offers special exclusive models for consumers seeking differentiated colors. The S23 Ultra 256GB and 512GB storage models come in four colors: Graphite, Sky Blue, Lime, and Red. The S23 Plus and S23 additionally offer two colors: Graphite and Lime.
Customers who pre-purchase the S23 series can receive and activate their devices starting from the 14th, before the official domestic release. If activation is completed by the 17th and pre-order benefits are applied through the Samsung Members app, various purchase benefits will be provided.
During the pre-order period, all customers purchasing the S23 series 256GB models will receive a 'Double Storage' benefit, doubling the basic storage capacity.
Additionally, customers can receive a free 'SmartThings Station', which functions as a smart home hub and wireless charging pad, or a coupon to purchase one random item among 'Galaxy Buds2 Pro' and Buds cases for 99,000 KRW.
Samsung.com exclusively conducts pre-sales of the S23 Ultra 1TB model and offers a 'Galaxy Watch5' 44mm Bluetooth model as a gift to pre-purchasers.
A 'Trade-in' event, offering up to 150,000 KRW additional compensation for returning previously used smartphones after purchasing the S23 series, will be held for seven weeks from the 7th until the 31st of next month.
Notably, existing Note series models such as Galaxy Note20, Note10, and Note9 series are eligible for the maximum additional compensation of 150,000 KRW.
Details about the S23 series pre-sale can be found at nationwide Digital Plaza stores, offline stores of mobile carriers, Samsung.com, mobile carrier online malls, and open markets such as 11st and Coupang. On the 7th, live commerce broadcasts will also be held on Samsung.com, 11st, Gmarket, and CJ OnStyle.
Targeting MZ Generation with Offline Marketing
Samsung Electronics is conducting various marketing activities targeting the MZ generation simultaneously with the unveiling of the S23 series.
Following the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung released striking visual advertisements targeting the MZ generation, who are passionate about photography and mobile gaming. Reflecting the trend of consuming and spreading short video content, short-form content showcasing various uses of the S23 series was introduced.
New cluster-type studios are also operated in areas popular among the MZ generation, such as Seongsu and Hongdae. Various concept studios are set up throughout the region to allow users to experience the features of the S23 series. In spaces decorated with city night views and club moods, users can experience the Nightography feature, while photo booths offer enhanced camera functions through unique selfies. Especially, a game-specialized studio is prepared where high-spec games such as Genshin Impact, New State Mobile, and KartRider: Drift can be enjoyed, allowing users to experience gaming performance as well.
Additionally, 'Galaxy Studios' can be experienced at Samsung Digital Plaza Gangnam Main Store, Busan Main Store, and Lotte Hi-Mart World Tower Store, among others.
