The success factors of Keimyung University's Department of Police Administration can be found in its systematic curriculum, passionate lectures by the faculty, and career guidance for public servant exams by job category provided from the time of admission. The curriculum is organized and operated to prepare and challenge students for any exam across all public service fields, including police officers, prosecutors, court officials, correctional officers, and general public servants, which can be considered the greatest success factor.

Moreover, to assist students in obtaining judo certificates that grant additional points on police officer exams, specialized judo instructors are invited to conduct practical judo classes. The university also operates a "Campol (Campus Police)" system to maintain safety and order on and off campus, providing students with indirect experience as police officers and opportunities for community service.
