Gmarket and Auction announced on the 3rd that they will hold the 'New Spring! New Start!' promotion until the 12th of this month, offering discounts of up to 76% on fashion, living, and mart products.

During this event, fashion and beauty items will be featured at special prices from the 3rd to the 5th, living and leisure items from the 6th to the 8th, and mart products from the 9th to the 12th. Additionally, a 10% discount coupon will be provided daily, with three coupons available per ID over the ten days.

According to Gmarket, from the 25th of last month to the 1st of this month, men's fashion items such as round T-shirts (118%), shirts (34%), and cotton pants (31%) sold well, while women's fashion items like jeans (171%) and mini skirts (119%) showed high sales growth rates. Living products also gained popularity due to demand for home interior changes, including blinds (91%), bedding sets (62%), and curtains (53%). Outdoor sports products such as bicycle accessories (40%), bicycle clothing and goods (42%), and sportswear and sneakers (42%) also saw high sales. Beauty products experienced increased sales in base makeup (28%) and color makeup (51%).

A Gmarket representative stated, “With the lifting of indoor mask mandates, consumer sentiment is expected to recover further, so we carefully selected the most popular categories to offer discounts. Since we are presenting seasonal items with strong benefits, customers will be able to enjoy shopping at reasonable prices.”
