The service targets elderly people aged 70 or older, severely disabled persons, and pregnant women, and civil petitioners who wish to use the service can fill out an application form when submitting their passport application.
The county formed a passport delivery service team with three civil service office employees, and after contacting the applicants by phone to set the place and time for receipt, they meet in person to verify identification and obtain a signature seal before final delivery.
A county official said, "Through the free passport delivery service, we expect to reduce the time and economic burdens of the elderly, disabled, and pregnant women, as well as ensure their safety," adding, "We will continue to stand in the position of the residents, discover and promote various civil complaint policies, and do our best to provide satisfaction to civil petitioners through prompt and accurate work processing."
