Legrand Group, a global company specializing in electrical and digital building infrastructure with over 100 years of history and presence in more than 90 countries, is introducing a new lineup to its best-selling ‘Arteor’ product range in Korea. Legrand Korea Co., Ltd. (hereinafter ‘Legrand Korea’), the Korean branch of Legrand Group, leads the high-end market both domestically and internationally.
‘Arteor’ has established itself as the representative wiring device for Legrand Korea, leading the domestic high-end market including premium apartments, hotels, and townhouses. Its most distinctive advantage is the ability to freely combine various colors and functions as desired. In particular, it offers not only full color matching where the plate and switch colors are the same but also combinations with different colors, allowing selection and styling to match the interior and tone of any space. Another feature is its “modular system,” which enables assembling switches, outlets, communication modules, and more according to needs.
Recently, European-style square design switches have become a trend in interior design. In the new apartment construction market, European-style square wiring devices are also being installed. However, for remodeling existing homes, Legrand Korea has released the ‘Arteor Support Frame,’ which allows European-style switches to be installed directly onto the domestic-style switch boxes already embedded. This will be welcome news for consumers and installers who hesitated due to additional construction costs. Although previously applicable only to 1- and 2-gang models, a bracket that supports up to 6 gangs will be released in April.
Additionally, a new 20W fast-charging USB module compatible with the ‘Arteor’ model is about to be launched. The difference from existing fast-charging modules is that it is the first wiring device to apply the PD (Power Delivery) method, enabling fast charging for all mobile devices including laptops.
The ‘VIVO’ switch, featuring a minimal and retro concept, is a product from Legrand’s Australian branch, boasting a free-spirited and lively charm. The base colors are white and black, and with 14 different plates, it allows for unique spatial expression through various colors. Its ergonomic design provides smooth operation and a pleasant sound during use, and when combined with an LED ring, it allows easy location identification even in dark places.
Riding on VIVO’s popularity, Legrand Korea plans to release VIVO outlets with 2 gangs suitable for the domestic market in February, and products that can install up to 3 communication modules within the first half of the year. Previously, only 1 gang was installable for outlets, but now a 2-gang model has been added, and communication ports that could only accommodate 2 gangs can now be expanded to 3 gangs.
Furthermore, since these products are frequently touched in the home, the VIVO antibacterial switch, which has 99.99% antibacterial efficacy against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus, will also be available. This product has been officially certified for its functionality by Spain’s Ams Lab and Korea Testing & Research Institute (KTR), a domestic accredited testing organization, ensuring high reliability.
