Gyeongnam National University Signs Partnership Agreement for Mutual Growth with Universities in Busan and Gyeongnam Regions

Commitment to Joint Curriculum Development and Credit Recognition

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] Gyeongnam National University recently signed an agreement at Silla University to establish a cooperative system for sharing educational resources with universities in the Busan and Gyeongnam regions.


This agreement was prepared to promote mutual development, co-growth, and competitiveness among regional universities, as well as to establish an education quality management system. The agreement involved Gyeongnam National University, Dongmyung University, Dong-Eui University, Silla University, Youngsan University, and Inje University.

Through the agreement, each university promised mutual cooperation in ▲joint development of curricula and credit recognition ▲joint development and operation of extracurricular programs ▲formation and operation of an education cooperation council ▲regular hosting of education cooperation forums ▲sharing educational content and excellent educational achievements among universities.


Kim Yong-woon, Director of Educational Innovation at Gyeongnam National University, said, “Now, when the difficulties faced by regional universities are increasing, cooperation and sharing among universities are more necessary than ever. Taking this agreement as an opportunity, the six universities will communicate, gather wisdom for mutual growth, overcome the crisis, and strive for further development.”
